This is the sink we are using in the bathroom for the walnut room. This room will also have an old clawfoot tub to use. We purchased the tub locally. It was pulled out of and old house.
This sink looks old, right? It is actually a reproduction piece that we found on an online aution site. We are working hard to get this room ready for our first guests who will be coming in July...Mom and Dad Swartz!

Here is Jeff coming down off of the ladder. He had just finished putting the siding on the last dormer of the main house! (Did you notice the rainbow behind him? ) Now he only has four more dormers on the apartment to do. Each one takes about three nights after work for him to complete. Go Jeff, go!

We thought we would add this picture of this rainbow that was behind the house the other night. It looked so pretty just over the lake like that. It was a very peaceful night that night. The rainbow was just the icing on the cake. We are so thankful to our God for all He has done for us and for all that He has blessed us with. His creation is beautiful! We would be nothing without Him and we would have nothing without Him. Thanks be to God!!

This is our master suite with the ceiling fan in place. Thanks again to Ken Hartman for all of his hard work with the wiring. He's the best!

You can also see a small shot of the floors here. They are finished now, too. They were done by Dinu's Hardwood Flooring. He did it exactly like we asked him to. The floor's are perfect! Many thanks to Dinu and his crew!

Here is one of the back walls of the house. We just finished putting the siding on this one. Thanks to our friends Art Fredrick and David Dean we were able to get this big wall done. That's a lot of shakes! Art worked long hours on this.He even worked at night! He wore a light on his cap to work after dark. Thanks so much guys for all your help!

We have lights in the house now! We have been very pleased with our electrician. He is Ken Hartman from Hartman Electric. He and his assistant John worked long hours to get this job done. We really appreciate all they did for us. They were very detailed and asked us a lot of questions to make sure they did the job just right and just like we wanted it. It's hard to find workers like that anymore. They actually asked us things before hand so that no mistakes were made. How about that! If you need an electrician contact us for Ken's info!

Okay, back to the house. Here is Jeff in the kitchen. You can see the fridge on the left and the wall ovens on the right. I can't wait to start cooking in this kitchen! I'm sure Jeff can't wait either! They are measuring for the counter top today. It will be installed in two weeks. Then I think we can move in because everything else will be ready. Across the hallway in that open room with the window is where the salon will be.
I didn't think it was fair to not have a picture of Shelby on here, too. This is how she helps me pack. Pretty lazy, huh?

Here they are. Shadow is on the left and the new kitty, Cleo, is on the blanket. We rescued her about a month ago. We thought we should include a shot of them helping us pack. I can't wait to see them in the new place. I did not have a photo of all three but I'm sure we will when we move in. They are our official Autumn Inn greeters. Actually, these two both hide whenever someone comes in the house. Oh well!

As many of you know, we rescued a kitten about a month ago. Yes, now we have three. We are officially "crazy cat people". Anyway, she thought that the Mustang was a giant jungle gym and climbed all over it. Thankfully, the scrathes will buff out. We decided to bring the Mustang to its new home to be kept out of harms way. For all of you car nuts out there, this is a pretty sight! I'm sure the black car will be following close behind!

This is Ben Beevers posing in front of his work. Just behind him is where the double ovens will go. Behind him to the left is the pantry. It has so much room. It will be perfect for all the storage I will need for baking goods. I have to say it again that we love these cabinets and we are so happy with Ben's work. If you're in the market for a cabinet maker this is your guy! Remember he will ship his work to you. He is willing to go to Asheville and Charlotte, too!

This is a picture if the island in place in the center of the kitchen. The window overlooks the lake. Again I say Ben's work is amazing! If you need cabinet work contact us for his information!
Here are Jeff and Ben Beevers, our cabinet maker, carrying the island to the kitchen. Our cabinets are custom made right down to the one of a kind color formula! Ben matched the color to an old piece of walnut that we had. The cabinets are made entirely of cherry wood and boy are they heavy! You can see the strain in Jeff's face! Even the interior plywood is cherry plywood. We are so pleased with Ben's work. These cabainets are amazing! If anyone needs cabinet work done he will ship them to you! You don't find craftmanship like this anymore. I can't say it enough...they are georgeous!

Yippee! Our kitchen cabinets were delivered today! We are so excited!
